Plasma TV Help – I have a 42″ plasma tv and the gas filled screen shattered during a move. Can that be fixed cost effectively

The screen that shattered was the grey screen inside the tv not the outer screen. I can get another 42″ plasma from $1200 to $1500. Will the repairs be more than that.

I guess the white dots are referred to as “trash” and its because the quality of the plasma screen can pick up more than a regular tv. Is there a way to stop this?
