Plasma TV Help – Does the picture of a plasma tv start to fade only after 60,000 hours, or is the fading happening from day 1?

Does the fading happen immediately but is not noticeable until after 60,000 hours, if that is what it is rated for, or does the fadeing only start after 60,000 hours?

There are no blue tints to the picture at all. Anybody know why? Could the screen be damaged or something from wii games? All the super bright colors, maybe?
